Pinni Image

Ingredients needed

Sugar (According to your taste)
Raisin (200g)
Desi Ghee (1 Litre)
Almonds (500g)
Flour (1-1.5kg)
Cashew (500g)

How to cook

  1. Take a Kadhai and put it in low flame.

2. Pour desi ghee (homemade or bought from outside) into the kadhai and let it melt completely. Leave it to be heated for a few (2-5 min) minutes on low flame.

3. After heating the ghee slowly pour flour into it.

4. Stir the flour until it turns into a paste. Keep it in mind to not leave any lumps of the flour. Leave it to be cooked in low flame until it turns brown. Make sure to add grinded sugar in this step if you want sweet pinnis and stir it till it dissolves.

5. You can put more kinds of dry fruits or dried coconut inside the pinni paste. After you have completely stirred the paste and the dry fruits inside it, PLEASE don’t touch it until it has not cooled down enough to NOT burn your hands.

When it has cooled down, take some of the batter into your hands and start making laddoos out of it. You can keep the laddoos on a plate and cover them with a cloth and leave them overnight.

Enjoy the pinni in the morning with delicious chai as your breakfast! It’s so easy isn’t it?
